Rep. Mace files bill to reverse hemp ban 🌿

Rep. Nancy Mace filed a bill that would reverse the hemp ban. The proposal is co-sponsored by Reps. Thomas Massie and James Baird, from Kentucky and Indiana, respectively, as well as Democrat Zoe Lofgren from California. Similar bills have been proposed by Democrat Ilhan Omar and Republican Senator Rand Paul. 

NYMCIA sues the Office of Cannabis Management 🌿

The New York Medical Cannabis Industry Association sued the Office of Cannabis Management in state court over its lack of enforcement against illicit operators. The lawsuit criticizes the state's slow rollout of cannabis licenses, and over the long delay in implementing a track-and-trace system. The Times Union has more.
