Happy Monday, everyone.

We here on the Cultivated team are absolutely gutted for the Blue Jays. It was right there, but that’s the beauty — and tragedy — of sports.

Tune in at 10 AM today where we’ll be joined by Verano $VRNOF ( ▼ 7.35% ) Chief Investment Officer Aaron Miles on Cultivated Live. Watch it on our LinkedIn, YouTube, and Jeremy’s X page. (And give us a follow while you’re there).

📣 Quotable

"Just as cannabis reform began at the ballot box, its opponents are now using the same mechanism to try to reverse it. The groups behind these New England petitions aren’t random moral crusaders — they’re politically connected, message-disciplined and testing the waters for something bigger," wrote attorneys Joanne Caceres and Hannah King, who both work for Dentons.

The two, in an editorial for Marijuana Moment, urged the cannabis industry to pay attention to ballot efforts to repeal legalization in Massachusetts and Maine, which they say is well-organized and could be test runs for a larger prohibitionist push.

These campaigns should be particularly disconcerting with reports that the signature gathering campaign in Massachusetts has been deceptively misrepresenting its cause to prospective voters.

WEEDGETS
Cough reduction with smoke filtering and cooling from Weedgets*

Coughing is one of the most common side effects of smoking cannabis, it’s a physiological reaction that is often hard to avoid.

When hot, harsh smoke hits the throat and lungs, it triggers irritation, inflammation, and dryness. Over time, this can lead to chronic coughing, even for experienced users.

Weedgets was founded by a medical device engineer who saw a simple truth: the issue isn’t the cannabis, it’s how it’s consumed.

By applying medical-grade design principles to smoking, Weedgets developed innovative solutions that filter and cool smoke before it reaches your lungs — drastically reducing cough, heat, and irritation.

Its flagship device, the MAZE-X Pipe, uses a patented maze-like airway to cool smoke on its path through the device, making each inhale noticeably smoother.

The newly-released X7 one hitter pipe combines cooling and filtering in a sleek, portable form that’s easy to clean and built to last. And Weedgets proprietary Charcoal Filters trap tar and micro-particles, letting users breathe easier while preserving flavor.

Proposed ballot measure could roll back legalization in Maine 🗳️

Much like its neighbor to the southwest, Maine voters may soon have the opportunity to decide whether or not to roll back legalization in Vacation Land. Maine voters legalized cannabis in 2016, also like its neighbor Massachusetts. The new proposal, which must be approved by the state's attorney general before signatures can be gathered, would eliminate the legal sale of adult-use cannabis, as well as home grow.
