“At this point, I feel like all 50 states…just might as well,” WNBA star Brittney Griner said on Into The Mix, a podcast published by the ice cream company Ben & Jerry’s.
“It’s a booming business. It’s bringing jobs into communities, bringing revenue into states. States legalize it, and you see the revenue that starts coming in behind it.”
Griner was detained in Russia for 10 months on cannabis-related charges.

Prime Minister Hun Manet said authorities turned down foreign companies’ proposals to grow medical cannabis for export, arguing the government couldn’t control production or domestic use. New York’s Office of Cannabis Management reminded hemp retailers that cannabinoid hemp drinks can contain no more than 1 milligram of THC per can, with one serving per container and at least 15 times more CBD than THC. Anything stronger belongs behind dispensary counters, the setup we argued for after 60mg THC drinks turned up on NYC bodega shelves.

Canadian cannabis company CannabCo said its Odourless OG pre-rolls are stocked, ordered or being onboarded at more than 300 licensed Ontario retailers since launching in June. Mouse study points to how cannabinoids can trigger anxiety
Mice given a synthetic cannabinoid became more fearful of a predator’s scent, and researchers traced the effect to a group of neurons in the amygdala, the brain’s fear center. The findings, published in Nature Communications, offer a possible explanation for why cannabis sometimes causes anxiety or panic.
