Good morning (again).
We generally have shied away from sending multiple emails in a day to our loyal Cultivated readers.
But, sometimes the news calls for it.
Our Editor-in-Chief Jeremy Berke landed a scoop about Organigram emerging as a suitor for Aurora right in the midst of Curaleaf's hostile bid.

Organigram emerges as a potential rival suitor for Aurora Cannabis

Canadian cannabis firm Organigram has explored a potential deal with Aurora Cannabis in recent weeks, Cultivated has learned, as Curaleaf presses its hostile bid in an increasingly bitter contest.
A rival suitor would give Aurora’s board, which urged shareholders to take no action on the hostile offer, an alternative to Curaleaf and could force Curaleaf to raise its price again or walk away.
There’s no guarantee yet that a deal will materialize. The talks have been ongoing for a few weeks, and the deal could take the form of an outright merger, or another type of transaction.
“As a matter of Company policy, we do not comment on market rumors or speculation,” an Aurora spokesperson said, and Organigram said it does not comment on “rumors or speculation.”
