Texas hemp ban fails again 🏛️

“So I do believe they’ll be operating before the end of the year,” Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said of medical cannabis dispensaries in the state. 

Kentucky’s medical cannabis law went into effect on January 1 and Beshear expects to have things up-and-running before the end of the year.

Texas THC ban dies in second special session 🤠

Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick’s bid to ban hemp-derived THC sales in the state failed to make it out of the state’s second special legislative session this Summer. Gov. Greg Abbott vetoed a previous iteration of the ban in June, and two attempts to pass it have now failed. Read more.
